A collaboration between both Grossmont College and Cuyamaca College music departments, the showcase concert provides an unforgettable experience featuring a diverse range of ensembles. From classical symphony orchestras to the infectious energy of Rock, Pop and Soul, you’re guaranteed to enjoy the performances by our talented Grossmont and Cuyamaca College music students and their acclaimed professors!

  • About the Venue

    With its dramatic steel and glass exterior and soaring roofline, Grossmont College’s Performing & Visual Arts Center is a landmark structure on the campus. This new cutting-edge performance venue, spanning 39,000 square feet, is equipped with state-of-the-art technology. It boasts a seating capacity of 390, houses one of the most expansive stages in the county, an orchestra pit, and a balcony, making it a significant asset to the performing arts community.

    The realization of this exceptional facility is attributed to the financial backing received from Propositions R and V. We extend our sincere gratitude to the county taxpayers whose investment has played a pivotal role in advancing the educational and artistic missions of our colleges.
